Carmelo Anthony started his basketball career at a Towson Catholic school in Baltimore.  Anthony’s senior year he transferred to Oak Hill Academy in West Virginia.  He than went to Syracuse for his college career.  As a freshman Carmelo lead the Orange men to National Championship.  Anthony than decided to move on from college ball and enter the NBA draft.  Carmelo was drafted 3rd overall in the 2003 NBA draft.  He was second runner up in the Rookie of the year award, finishing second to Lebron James.  He was selected for the All-Rookie team in 2003-04 season and played in the Olympics.  Carmelo is still with the Nuggets and doing great, trying to lead his team to a NBA championship.
